Etymology:

Holotype: GSO R332

Locality: Northern slope of Etjo Mountain, Namibia, South West Africa.

Horizon: Omingonde Formation, Etjo Beds.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Triassic.

Material: Fragmentary skull.

Referred material:

GSO R567: Nearly complete skull without lower jaw and much of the skeleton.

GSO R568: Nearly complete skull without lower jaw.

GSO R321c: Isolated lower jaw which may belong to R568.

GSO R321a: Small lower jaw.

GSO R327: Small lower jaw.
