Horizon: Elandsberg Membr, Balfour Formation, Beaufort Group.
Biostratigraphy: Daptocephalus Assemblage Zone, Lystrosurus maccaigi-Moschorhinus Subzone (originally Upper Cistecephalus zone).
Age: Tatarian Age, Lopingian Subepoch, Zechstein Epoch, Late Permian.
Material: Anterior 2/3rds of a skull with lower jaw.
