Etymology: Greek, oenos (oinos), "wine"; referring to teh Franconian Alb, a
famous wine area, where the specimen was found, and Greek, saurus (sauros), 'lizard'.

Etymology: In reference to the village of Mühleheim, close to Mörnsheim,
at the rim of th valley of Altmühl in Bavaria.
Holotype: BSPG 2009 I 23
Locality: "Krautworrst Naturstein" quarry in Mühleheim near Mörnsheim, central Bavaria State, Germany.
Horizon: Mörnsheim Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Lower Tithonian Stage, Upper Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.
Material: Partial skull and complete mandible.
