Locality: Fort Benton, near Ada, Ottwa County, Western Kansas.

Horizon: Upper Greenhorn Formation or Lower Fairport Chalk, Carlile Shales.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Middle Turonian Stage, Uppermost Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material: Skull in palatal view with attached mandibles, the first 37 vertebrae and ribs.

Horizon: Approximately 21 m above local top of Dakota Formation, 2.4 m below top of Bentonite C, Tropic Shale.

Biostratigraphy: Middle to upper part of the Pseudoaspidoceras flexuosum Ammonoid Biozone.

Age: Earliest Turonian Stage, Uppermost Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material:

MNA V9433: Nearly complete skull with mandible with teeth, 12 cervical, 22 dorsal vertebrae, ribs, partial scapula, left coracoid, partial right coracoid, right lium, partial pubis and partial ischium.

 

Locality: MNA LOC 1478, Glen Canyon National Recreation area, Kane County, Utah.

Horizon: Approximately 7.1 m stratigraphically above (about 300 m east of MNA LOC 1479), 20 cm below base of Bentonite D, Tropic Shale.

Age: Early Turonian Stage, Uppermost Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material:

MNA V9432: Partial cranium, partial mandible, and vertebrae of a juvenile.

Note: One rib with serrate tooth marks, another with embedded Squalicorax tooth, no evidence of healing.
