Etymology: Also in honor of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Holotype: SMNK 1132 PAL

Locality: Capada do Araripe, Southern Ceara State, North-east Brazil.

Horizon: Nova Olinda Member, Crato Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Uppermost Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Incomplete articulated skeleton.
