Etymology: In reference to Alba County, where the locality is situated and Latin, draco, "dragon."

Etymology: The Dacic name of present-day Alba Iulia, 'Tharmis'; the Dacian people are acient inhabitants of this region, Oarda de Jos is now part of the town Alba Iulia.

Holotype: PSMUBB B 651a, b

Locality: Oarda de Jos (ODA section), Alba County, Transylvania, Romania.

Horizon: Sard Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Late Senonian Subepoch, Late Gulf Epoch, Latest Cretaceous.

Material: Incomplete premaxilla (V651a) and fragmentar mandibular symphysis (V651b).
