Species: wuxiangensis WU, KANG, SHI, YOU & DONG, 2025
Etymology: Inreference to Wuxiang County, Shanxi Province, China.

Holotype: SNHM V2014

Locality: About 2 km northeat of Xizaolincun Village, Shipanxiang Township, Wuxiang County, Shanxi Province, China.

Horizon: Upper Part of the Ermaying Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Ladanian Stage, Late Middle Triassic Epoch, Late Middle Triassic.

Material: Skull, 9 cervical vertebrae, both humeri and the incomplete right scapula and coracoid.

Paratype:

SNHM V2015: Anterior cervical vertebrae, the posteriro section of the tail prior to the 22nd caudal vertebrae.

Note: Gut contents of ostoderms and fragmnts of other postcranial elements of carnivorous archosaurians, most likely that of Halazhaisuchus qiaoensis.
