Genus: Zulmasuchus PAOLILLO & LINARES, 2007
Etymology: In honor of Zulma Gasparini, who first described the family Bretesuchidae and Greek, souchos, "crocodile."

Etymology: Named in honor of St. Roy Querejazu of Cochabamba, Bolivia, who obtained the type specimen and kindly provided it to the authors for study and descriptions.

Holotype: MHNC P3701

Locality: Vila Vila, about 90 km southeast of Cochabamba, Mizque Province, Cochabamba Department, Southcentral Bolivia.

Horizon: Santa Lucia Formation.
