Holotype: DGM 433-R

Locality: 3 km north of the Station of Peiropolis, Minas Gerias State, Brazil.

Horizon: Serra da Galga Member, Marila Formation, Bauru Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Premaxilla with 5 teeth, teeth from the maxilla and lower jaw, a supraorbital bone, the radii and ulnae, parts of the left ischium and pubis, cervical, dorsal and caudal vertebrae, ribs and chevron bones, and numerous dermal scutes.

Peirosaurus torminni (modified from Price, 1955).
