Locality: Exacat locality is unkown. However data collected for this study indicate that the original limestone block was quarried near Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Verona Province, Italy.

Horizon: Lowermost Rosso Ammonitico Veronese Formation.

Biostratigraphy: Globigerina supriensis- and Bositra buchi-dominated microfacies.

Age: Upper Bajocian Stage, Lowermiddle Dogger Epoch- lowermost Bathonian Stage, upper middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: Partial skull (maxillae, nasals, prefrontals, frontals, parietals, postorbitals and squamosals), mandible (dentaries, splenials, surangulars and articulars), several teeth and seven cranial presacral vertebrae.
