Locality: Guimarota lignite mine (Mina de Lignito Guimarota), 1.5 km SSE of Leiria, Leiria District, Portugal.

Horizon: Guimarota complex of lignitic marls.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Kimmeridgian Stage, Lower Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: A nearly complete right maxilla.
