Etymology: In reference to the country of Brazil, where the specimen was found and Greek, sauros, "lizard."

Species: pachaecoi HUENE, 1931


Locality: Guarucia, San Jose do Rio Preto, Sao Paulo State, Brazil.

Horizon: Adamantina Formation, Upper Bauru Group.


Age: Turonian Stage-Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary femur and ulna.
