Genus: Sinobaatar HU & WANG, 2002
Etymology: Latin, sino, "China," and Mongolian, baatar, "hero," which has been used as the suffix of generic names of many Asian Cretaceous multituberculates.

Species: lingyuanensis HU & WANG, 2002
Etymology: In reference to Lingyuan, Liaoning Province, China, the name of the city where the type specimen was collected.

Locality: Dawangzhangzi, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Horizon II, Yixian Formation, Jehol Group.

Biostratigraphy: Psittacosaurus fauna, Liaoxiornis Avifauna.

Age: Lower Hautervian Stage, Uppermost Neocomian Subepoch, Lower Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Skeleton of a subadult individual, preserved mainly in impressions of both dorsal and ventral sides on the slate aind its counterpart.

Locality: Jianshangou-Sihetun area of Beipiao, Shangyuan, Beipiao City, Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Yixian Formation (Jiufotang Formation, = Chaomidianzi Formation of Ji et al, 1998), Jehol Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete specimen with ‘feather’ impressions.

NGMC 2124 (Sinosauropteryx prima): A nearly complete skeleton with ‘feather’ impressions.
Note: Initally described by JI & JI (1997). This specimen includes symmetrodont ammal 2 jaws (Zhangheotherium) and skeletal elements in the stomach region (CURRIE & CHEN, 2001). A third jaw belongs to Sinobaatar (HURUM, LUO & KIELAN-JAWOROWSKA, 2006)

Species: xiei KUSHUHASHI, HU, WANG, SETOGUCHI & MATSUOKA, 2009
Etymology: In honor of Mr. Shuhun Xie who prepared a lot of fragile and tiny specimens from Fuxin and Badaohao with his great techinque.

Holotype: IVPP V14491

Locality: Fuxin, Liaoning Province, northeastern China.

Horizon: Fuxin Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Aptian or Early Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Partial skull including maxillae with right P1-M2 and left P1-P5 and M2 teeth, fragment of left premaxilla with 12 and 13, damaged right basicranial region wityh squamosal, dentary with incisor, p2-m2.

Species: fuxinensis KUSHUHASHI, HU, WANG, SETOGUCHI & MATSUOKA, 2009
Etymology: In reference to Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, northeastern China, around where the small coal mins yielding most of present materials are located.

Locality: Fuxin, Liaoning Province, northeastern China.

Horizon: Fuxin Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Aptian or Early Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Flattened skull and dentaries with dentions, right 12, 13, P1-M1, lower incisor and p2-p4, and left 12, 13, P1-P2, M1-M2, lower incisor, p3, p4 and m2 are obserable, left P3, P5, m1 and Right M2 are partily exposed.

Referred material:

IVPP V14490: Upper jaws with right 12, DPL, erupting P1, P2-M2, and left 12-13, erupting P1, P2-M2 teeth, and fragmentary left dentary with ncisor, p2, and p3.

IVPP V14505: Fragments of right maxilla with P2-P3 and P5, isolated right M1 and right M2, fragment of left dentary with broken incisor, p2, p3 and anterior part p4.
