Etymology: In honor of Lu Jianhua, the collector of the holotype.

Holotype: LDN HMF2001

Locality: Daxishan site, Linglongta, Jianchang County, Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Tiaojishan Formaiton.


Age: Oxfordian Stage, Lower Dogger Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: A nearly complete skeleton of an adult specimen.
