Etymology: Latin, minutus, "small."

Holotype: YPFB Pal 6195

Locality: Tiupampa, Bolivia.

Horizon: Mammal-bearing level of the El Molino Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Right maxillary fragment with UM3-4.
