Locality: Old Beach Locality, a clay-pebble conglomerate lens exposed in a road cut that roughly follows the east of bank of the Derwent River from Risdon to Old Beach, 73200N and 51550E, Tasmania.

Horizon: Knocklofty Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Induan stage,-Olenekian stage, upper Scythian Epoch, Early Triassic.

Material: A nearly complete skull.

Topotype: UTGD 88066: Basal portion of cultrifrom porcess of parasphenoid bone form the palatal surface of a skull.

Paratype: UTGD 87783

Locality: Midway Point Locality, the locality lies on the shore platform of the western coast of the Midway Point peninsula, which projects into Pitt Water from the north, 73070N and 53630E, Tasmania.
