Etymology: In reference to Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province, China, where the specimens were found.

Etymology: In honor of C. C. Young and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin who were coauthors of hte first report on dinosaur tracks from China.

Holotype: Orignaly trackway C on slab in the Shnmu Musuem. Replicas of representative tracks C6 and C7 are housed in the Beijing Museum of Natural History, Ph-906.

Locality: Outcrop at N38°45.536', E110°36.290', below Qiujinggou Village, Langanbao District, Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province, China.

Horizon: Fuxian Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Jurassic.

Material: Trackway C.

Paratypes:

Original trackways A, B, and D-H on slab in the Shenmu Museum, and replica of trackway A housed in the Beijing Museum of Natural History, Ph-907.

Etymology: In honor of Mr Tao Wang, one of the best fossil hunters in China who has found nearly a hudnred of Lufengosaurus skeletal remains and this track.

Holotype: DLS1-RP1-RM1-DLS1-RP3-RM3

Locality: Dalishu Tracksite, Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, China.

Horizon: Zhangjiaao Member, Lufeng Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Jurassic.

Material: A trackway consisting of 5 successive pes-manus set.

Paratypes: DLS2 and DLS 3: 8 and 5 track pairs, and the isolated set DLSI-RO1-Rm1 from same surface as designted as paratypes.
