Ichnogenus: Iguanodontipus SARJEANT, DELAIR & LOCKLEY, 1998
Etymology: In reference to the name of the presumed trackmaters, with the Greek suffix pous, foot (Latinized).

Ichnospecies: burreyi SARJEANT, DELAIR & LOCKLEY, 1998
Etymology: In honor of Mr. Anthony Burrey, whose father obtained and preserved the type material and who donated these crucial specimens to the Bournemouth Natural Science Society.

Holotype: BNSS 33793b

Locality: Norman’s Quarry, Queensground, Langton Matravers, Dorset County, England, Southern United Kingdom. (National Grid reference SZ997 786).

Horizon: Lower Durlston beds, Middle Purbeck beds.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Berriasian Stage, Lower Neocomian Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: 7 natural casts preserved on three slabs.

Note: Huerteles “Aloformation” of Gomez Fernande (1992), Oncala Group, Possibly? Berriasian, or within the undifferntiated Late Jurassic (?Kimmeridgian or Tithonian) to ?Early Cretaceous (Berriasian).
