Genus: Rolfodon CAPPETTA, MORRISON & ADNET, 2019
Etymology: In honor of Dr. Rolf Ludvigsen (1944-2016), Denman Institute for Research on Trilobites - D.I.R.T. for his friendhsip, suport, help and mentorship during the formative years fo thsi fossil shark project and in recognition of his research on Trilobites as well as his contributions regarding Vancover Island Palaeontology.
