Etymology: In honor of K'omoka First nation, for whose territories this discovry was made and for collaborating by name fo teh species 'kwutchakuth' this bing a loose pronuniction of teh workd fo rshark in the unwritten K'omoks language.

Locality: Collishaw Point Site, (60 teeth), and Manning Point site (26 teeth), Hornby Island, British Columbia Province, Canada.

Horizon: Northumberland Formation, Nanaimo Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material:Tooth.
