Etymology: In honor of Florence E. Adamthwaite, mother of senor author Kurt Morrison, and Greek, odon, "tooth".

Etymology: In memory of John Adamthwaite (1921-1928), brother of Florence E. Adamthwaite, uncle to senior author Kurt Morrison.

Holotype: RBCM P1290

Locality: Collishaw Point Site, (136 teeth), and Manning Point site (29 teeth), Hornby Island, British Columbia Province, Canada.

Horizon: Northumberland Formation, Nanaimo Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material:Tooth.
