Etymology: Scottish Gaelic, roch, "rough" in reference to the spiny recurved tubercules on the surface of the headshield and Scottish, targe, a shield used by Scottish Higlanders in the 16th century.

Material: Impression of the dorsal surface of the headshield.

Material: Nearly complete but heavily compressed body fossil.
