Etymology:

Holotype: NSMT-P-9121-9216

Locality: Tsochin, east of Tainan, Taiwan Province, China.

Horizon: Middle to Upper Villafranchin.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Pliocene Epoch, Upper Neogene Period, Lower Quaternary Subera, Upper Cenozoic Era.

Material: A fragment of a skull and lower jaws, including incomplete frontal, parietal, maxilla, dentary and tooth.
