Locality: Stuart Deposit, the Narrows Graben, Gladstone, Central Queensland State, Australia.

Horizon: Brick Kiln Seam, Rundle Formation.

Species: taraina BUCHANAN, 2009
Etymology: The specific name is derived from the workd ta-rain, meaning crocodile in the dialect of the Durumbal tribe of eastern central Queensland (Roth, 1987). The type locality was inhabited by the Bailai people, through little of thier language is recorded; the Bailai and Durumbal tribes shared strong links, both linguistically and socially (M. Strong pers. comm., 2005)
