Species: bucculentus SRIVASTAVA & NESBITT, 2026
Etymology: Latin, 'with full cheekcs' in reference to teh exceptionally tall jugal.
Holotype: CM 31368
Locality: Block C-3-82 (i.e. Carnegie Museum block 3 from 1982), Ghost Ranch Quarry or the Whitaker Quarry, SE 1/4, SE. 1/4, SW 1/4, Section 1, Township 24 North, Range 4 East, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico.
Horizon: Rock Point Formation, Chinle Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Apachean, Late Norian Stage, Upper Late Triassic Epoch, Late Late Triassic.
Material: A mostly complete and partially articulated skull with a complete braincase and much of the skull roof, as well as some palatal and hemimandibular elements: partial left and right maxillae, incomplete left nasal, complete left prefonral, incomplte left and right frontals, coplete left and right parietals, narly complte left adn right postoribitals, nearly complete left and right squamosals, mostly complete left jugal, mostcly complete left quadratojugal, mostly complte left quadrate and parts of teh right quadrate, fragmetnary palatien, framentary pterygoid, complete braincase (complete supraoccipital, basioccipital otoccipitals, parabasisphenoid, lateraosphenoids, mostly complet left surangular with articulated articular and partial prearticular, and partial dentaries.
