Etymology: In reference to the Ilike Formation.

Lectotype: IVPP V/4024-1

Locality: Urhe, Junggar Basin, Wuerho District, Xinjiang Uygur Zizhiqu (Sinkang) Province, China.

Horizon: Ilike Formation (Lianmugin Formation), Tugulo Series.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: ?Valanginian Stage, Upper Neocomian Subepoch-Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
