Etymology: In reference to Argentina, where the specimen was found.

Holotype: MCF PVPH 77

Locality: Sierra del Portezuelo, Neuquen Province, Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: Portezuelo Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Neuquenian Tetrapoda Assemblage, Coniacian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Fragments of a cervical vertebra, dorsal ribs, haemal archs, left proximal radius, right femur, distal tibia, proximal tarsals, and most of the foot of the hind limb.
