Genus: Lutungutali PEECOOK, SIDOR, NESBITT, SMITH, STYER & ANGIELCZYK, 2013
Etymology: Bemba Language, lutungu, "hip or pelvis" and Bemba Language, tali, "high"; the genus name references the autapomorphically high iliac blade of NHCC LB32 among Silesauridae.

Etymology: In reference to the village of Sitwe, Eastern Province, northeastern Zambia.

Holotype: NHCC LB32

Locality: Upper Ntawere L 13 (Drysdall & Kitching's Locality 15) approximately 5 km west of the village of Sitwe, upper Luangwa Valley, Eastern Province, northeastern Zambia.

Horizon: Upper Ntawere Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Anisian Stage, lower Mid Triassic Epoch, Lower Middle Triassic.

Material: Left and right ilia with attachment for two sacral ribs, incomplete left adn right ischia, fragmetns of pubic shafts including articulated distal end of the pubes, parts of four anterior caudal vertebrae in articulation.
