Genus: Dromaeosauroides CHRISTIANSEN & BONDE, 2003
Etymology: Greek, dromaios, "fast running" and Greek, sauros, "lizard": reflecting its resemblance to the Late Cretaceous Dromaeosaurus.

Species: bornholmensis CHRISTIANSEN & BONDE, 2003
Etymology: In reference to the Isle of Bornholm, Denmark, where the specimen was discovered.

Locality: Large gravel pit, Robbedale, Isle of Bornholm, Demark.

Horizon: Jydegaard Formation, Upper Nyker Group.
