Etymology: In honor of Dr. Xiao-Chun Wu (Canadian Museum of Nature) for his significant contribution to teh research on teh dinosrus adn other vertebrate fossils from Yunna Province.

Holotype: LFGT-WY002

Locality: Wande Town, Wuding County, Yunnan Province, China.

Horizon: Yubacun Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Hettangian-Lower Sinemurian Stage, Lower Lias Epoch, Early Jurassic.

Material: Skull and mandible, atlas-axis, third to the tenth cervical vertebrae, first to seventh dorsal vertebrae, dorsla ribs, right scapula and coracoid, right forelimb including humerus, ulna, radius and manus.
