Etymology: In reference to the Udan-Sayr Locality, Ömnögov, Mongolia and Greek, ceratops, “horn face”: “Udan-Sayr horn face”.

Etymology: In honor of D. O. Tschizhov, Paleontological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, who found the specimen.

Holotype: PIN No. 3907/11

Locality: Üüden Sair (Ulaan Sair, Udan Sayr), Ömnögov, Mongolia.

Horizon: Djadochta Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary skull missing frill, dentary missing premaxilla.
