Etymology: In honor of Sir Byron Edmund Walker, founder of the Royal Ontario Museum and first chairman of the board of trustees.

Locality: Quarry 12, On the middle branch of the coulee below Sand Creek, Red Deer River, elevation of 125 feet (aneroid) above the river, Dinosaur Provincial Park, Newell County, Alberta Province, Canada.

Horizon: Lower Dinosaur Park Formation, upper Judith River Group.

Material: Complete cranial crest and dorsal-caudal part of the cranium, fragmentary left dentary, 3 cervical, 11 dorsal, 8 sacral, and 26 caudal vertebrae, both scapulae and humeri, right radius, fragmentary left radius, right ulna, fragmentary left ulna, both ischia, ilia, pubes, femora, and tibiae, left fibula, incomplete right fibula, and numerous ribs, chevrons and phalangeal elements.
Note: Paleopathology, left fibula has a healed fracture.
