Etymology: Latin, oblitus, “forgotten”, in reference to its bones are teh last to be studied from teh Barrihonda-El Humero fossil site, and Greek, sauros, “lizard”: “Awake lizard”.

Etymology: In hoonr of Luis Bunuel, a prestigious Spanish film director born in teh province of Teruel.

Locality: Barrihonda-El Humero (RD-10) site, Municipality of Riodeva, Teruel Province, Argon, South-Iberian Basin, Spain.

Horizon: Villar del Arzobiso Formation, Riodeva Facies Association.
