Locality: Tynindindi, the mountain is behind Tynindindi trading post (?)30°32'S, 27°32'E, at an altitude of about 6.200 ft. on the mountain behind Transkei (Herschel) District, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Hettangian-Sinemurian Stage, Middle-Upper Lias Epoch, Early Jurassic.

Material: Fragmentary skull and lower jaw.
