Etymology: Latin, minutus, "small."

Holotype: PIN no. 3142/299

Locality: Hermiin Tsav (Khermeen Tsav), Nemegt Basin, Southern Gobi Aimak, western Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia.

Horizon: Baruungoyot Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: ?Lower Santonian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Almost complete skull (squamosals, right postorbital, and left frontal are lost, the posterior and partially anterior margin of the parietal) are damaged with lower jaw.
