Etymology: In reverence to Tianzhen county, where the specimen was discovered.

Holotype: SXMG V 0005

Locality: Kangdailiang Quarry, Datong City, Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province, China.

Horizon: Huiquanpu Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Cretaceous.

Material: An almost complete right dentary with dentition.
