Genus: Pujatopouli IRAOQUI, HOSPITALECHE, GELFO, CARABAJAL, BONA & BURLAILLE, 2026
Etymology: In honor of Genral Hernan Pujato, an Argentinean military and explorer who deisgned the Antarctic Plan which included among other milestiones the creation of the Instituto Antartico Argentino in 1951 (the first institution dedicated to the scinetific study of Antarctica), the founding of the San Martin base south of the polar circle, the Belgrano 1 base, and the acquisition of the icebreaker ARA Genral San Martin, and Greek, pouli (in neuter) "bird".
Many names ending in -pouli or -ornis (from feminine ornis) are treated as feminine by anaology with Latin avis (bird), allowing agreement with Soberana.

Etymology: Spanish, soberana, "sovereign". The name referes to "Patrulla Soberania", the first Argentine crew that founded the Vicecomodoro Marambio Base on the homonymous island, in 1969.

Biostratigraphy:
Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: Skull roof, the occipital and otic regions and the basicranium, the proximal end of the beak (preserving the anterior margin of the naries), mandible preseved in two parts and lacking the anterior porion, fragment of the sternum, a distal end of the right humerus, a proximal end of left ulna, 4 presacral thoracic vertebrae, a partially complete pelvis (lacking the posteior sector of the left pubis and ischium, and entire right pubis), the synsacrum, and the left tibiotarsus.
