Etymology: In reference to the Castigno valley, wehre the type specimen was discovered, Herault Department, France and Latin, volucris, "bird."

Species: seberi BUFFETAUT, ANGST & TONG, 2023
Etymology: In honor of Mr. Stephane Sebe, who discovereed dandidentified the specimen in teh course of excavations at Castigno in 2019.

Holotype: MC-VCZ2-6

Locality: Castigno valley, Villespassans, Herault Department, southern France.

Horizon: "Gres a Reptiles" Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Upper Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Right coracoid.
