Etymology:

Locality: P. Kirchmann quarry in Staatswald Ohmden near Holzmaden, Baden-Wurttemberg State, Germany.

Horizon: Posidonienschiefer, Schwarjura.

Biostratigraphy: Epsilon II1.

Age: Late Jurassic.

Material: Skull and almost complete skeleton.

Locality: Found during excavation for water line in Schorzingen, near Balingen, Germany.

Horizon: Posidonienschiefer, Schwarzjura.

Biostratigraphy: Epsilon II1 or 2.

Age: Late Jurassic.

Locality: During the construction of the Rhein-Main-Donau canal near the village of Kerkhofen near Freyung in the Oberpflaz, Bavaria, Southern Germany. IT was found about 1.2 km south-southeast of Kerkhofen, approximately 300 m East of the bridge on the road between Kerkhofen and Erasbach.

Horizon: Posidonienschiefer, Schwarjura.

Biostratigraphy: Epsilon II1.
