Etymology: Greek, kosmos, "ornamented" and Latin, draco, "dragon"; referring to the ornamented posterior cranial bones of the genus.

Etymology: Latin, magnus, "large" and Latin, cornum, "horn.", referring to the particularly large squamosal spines found on the species.

Locality: Fritz Quarry, NE 1/4 Sec. 30, T. 57 N., R. 100W, Park County, Wyoming.

Horizon: Silver Coulee beds horizon, Polecat Bench Formation.

Material: Nearly complete articualted skull, poriton of dentary, scapula, coracoid, adn associated cranial and postcranial fragments.
