Etymology:

Holotype: Museum der Natur in Gotha, Nr. 7729-1 throu 3

Locality: Bromacker locality, of the middle part of the Thuringian Forest near the Village of Tambach-Dietharz and about 20 km south of the town of Gotha, central Germany.

Horizon: Tambach Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Lowermost unit of the upper Rotliegend Epoch, Early Permian.

Material: Skull, dentaries and fragmentary skeleton.

MNG 17001: Reggurgitate from either Dimetrodon teutonis or Tambacarnifex unguifalcatus with a maxilla of Thuringothyris mahlendorfflae, a humerus of Eudibamus cursoris, a metapodial element of an diadectid and several amniote phalnages and metapodials.
